Job summary

Culina Group Limited is seeking a Supply Chain & Production Planner for a 12-month fixed-term contract in the UK. The role focuses on delivering weekly production plans, ensuring packaging and raw materials are available to meet demand, and coordinating with multiple departments to execute new projects and SKUs.

Salary range £32,000–£36,000 per annum, with Monday–Friday 8am–4pm hours. This is a site-based role within Culina’s integrated packing operations, offering opportunities to drive

• Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced customer-driven environment.
• Knowledge of MRP, planning, logistics and production supply.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work autonomously as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver daily/weekly/monthly production plans.
• Maximise production runs and minimise changeovers.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement remedial plans.
• Create labour and capacity plans.
• Manage stock levels within agreed limits.
• Review daily production plans and communicate with production and supply.
• Support production in Vision where applicable.
• Monitor and order stock via MRP to meet customer requirements.
• Expedite or delay orders as required.
• Coordinate all departments for new projects/SKUs launches.
• Communicate issues to customers and manage expectations.
• Maintain records for procurement and purchasing.
• Perform stock reconciliations and report results.

Life in this role

As part of our Integrated Packing Services, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Supply Chain & Production Planner on a 12 month fixed term basis! As a Supply Chain Planner you will be responsible for for joining up and delivering the weekly production plan. Ensuring that packaging and raw material is available in good time to meet production whilst delivering finished goods in line with demand.

Salary: £32,000-£36,000 per annum.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.

Key Duties of a Supply Chain & Production Planner:

• Ownership of the daily/weekly/Monthly production plans.
• Responsible for maximising production runs and looking to minimize changer overs.
• Identifying capacity bottlenecks and initiating plans to rectify them.
• Create and provide Labour and Capacity plans.
• Ensure Stocks levels are managed in accordance with agreed limits.
• Review Daily produce production plan and communicate accordingly to production and supply.
• Support Production in the use of Vision where applicable.
• To monitor and order, via MRP, the stock of ingredients and packaging so that production may efficiently achieve Customer requirements.
• Expediting or delaying orders as required.
• Coordinate all departments to ensure new projects / SKUs launch successfully.
• Communicate with Customers to advise any issues and manage their expectations accordingly.
• Maintain good records and procedures for the management of procurement and purchasing.
• Perform stock reconciliations and stock balances, reporting results internally and to customers.
• Escalate repeat non-conformance from suppliers to customer management.

Qualifications

What you’ll need ...

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced customer driven environment.
• Previous knowledge in running/actioning MRP, planning, logistics and production supply.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Good attitude towards team work and continuous improvement.
• Excellent attitude towards providing customer service standards.
