Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Supplier Quality Development Leader to improve the supply chain quality performance for HPC projects. The SDL will respond to supplier development requests by completing a supplier quality delivery charter and developing improvement plans to execute to completion.

The role requires leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, coaching suppliers in problem resolution, and facilitating improvement workshops while building strong relationships with supplier leadership to drive

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent qualification required.
Proven track record delivering supplier development projects in manufacturing.
Experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

Lead structured problem resolution activities at strategic suppliers.
Train and coach suppliers in structured problem resolution methodology.
Facilitate Supplier Quality Improvement workshops.
Build relationships with supplier leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Collect/analyze supplier performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
Deliver quality improvement activities within agreed timescales and budget.
Review supplier development requests and define the problem, method, scope and milestones.
