Job summary

Kauai is recruiting a Supervisor to support the café operations, lead shifts, coach staff and ensure food quality and safety across all duties. You will work closely with the Store Manager to maintain high service standards and create a welcoming member experience.

The role requires leadership, strong customer service, and a flexible approach to early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, with opportunities for development within a premium wellness environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within hospitality, food service or retail is preferred.
• Food Allergy and Intolerance Training.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the café, leading shifts and ensuring smooth operations.
• Coach and support Team Members to deliver exceptional customer service and food quality.
• Ensure brand, food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
• Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
• Monitor stock levels, complete ordering and support stock control processes.
• Resolve customer queries professionally and support the team during busy trading periods.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members while reinforcing operational standards.
• Maintain accurate operational records, food safety documentation and daily checklists.
• Work collaboratively with the Virgin Active team to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving operational and commercial objectives.
