Job summary

Kauai is seeking a Supervisor to join our café team in a fast-paced wellness environment. You will lead shifts, coach Team Members, maintain food quality and operational standards, and deliver outstanding service to members.

Working alongside the Store Manager and Virgin Active teams, you’ll ensure brand standards, food safety, and smooth daily operations while supporting onboarding and training of new colleagues.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in hospitality, food service or retail is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the café, leading shifts and ensuring smooth operations.
• Coach and support Team Members to deliver exceptional customer service and food quality.
• Ensure brand, food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
• Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
• Monitor stock levels, complete ordering and support stock control processes.
• Resolve customer queries professionally and support the team during busy trading periods.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members while reinforcing operational standards.
• Maintain accurate operational records, food safety documentation and daily checklists.
• Work collaboratively with the Virgin Active team to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving operational and commercial objectives.
