Job summary

Reliable Contractors Limited is seeking a Supervisor (Logistics) for Plymouth to oversee site logistics on a major MOD redevelopment project. The role is full-time, site-based, with a 45-hour workweek, Monday–Friday, and a PAYE arrangement including 30 days of holidays.

You will lead logistics operations, coordinate labour, plant and deliveries, and ensure safety standards across the site while liaising with management, engineers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
• Academic qualification - Level 4 or above (HNC, HND or Degree).
• Experience supervising logistics on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of site logistics and coordination.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate labour, plant, materials and deliveries.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Eligible for BPSS Security Clearance.
• Passport from NATO or MISWG member country and UK residence in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate logistics operations across site.
• Manage the movement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment.
• Coordinate site logistics teams and ensure resources are available when required.
• Ensure safe movement of vehicles, plant and personnel around site.
• Liaise with site management, engineers, subcontractors and delivery teams.
• Monitor daily activities and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety across logistics operations.
• Assist with planning and coordinating site deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records and report any issues to site management.
• Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works.

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.

PAYE basis

Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Must Have:

• Strong understanding of site logistics and coordination

• Reliable and proactive approach to work
• Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
• Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday

45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm
