Supervisor - Leadership & Professional Development

12-Month Secondment / Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave

Location: UK Flexible

This role involves developing and implementing new learning designs to support organisational needs, focusing on technical learning, learning design, e-learning development, and classroom learning. You will work with stakeholders to understand learning needs, develop or modify solutions, collaborate with learning teams and subject matter experts, and evaluate effectiveness.

Experience in developing engaging e-learning content is essential.

Accountabilities

  • Lead design projects, ensuring they meet business strategies and goals.
  • Manage design projects from concept through implementation, handover, and closeout.
  • Oversee the management of learning solution designs, maintaining documentation and project plans.
  • Collaborate on content creation within set timelines.
  • Align designs with the strategic directions of each business unit and the wider Centrica strategy.
  • Drive effective cross-functional design and produce comprehensive storyboards, including scripts and digital content.
  • Design bespoke instructional and blended learning solutions with assessments and simulations.
  • Work with colleagues and SMEs to develop learning objectives and solutions.
  • Participate in design and scoping meetings, applying ‘Action Mapping’ methodology.
  • Lead teams to create engaging training solutions and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Define evaluation metrics with stakeholders and use feedback to improve training materials.
  • Research and recommend innovative learning solutions and technologies.
