Job summary

Naylor's Equestrian LLP in Glasgow is seeking a proactive Supervisor to help run the shop floor, support colleagues across shifts and uphold the brand's service standards in our Glasgow store.

You will assist with opening/closing, till operations, merchandising and daily tasks, ensuring a welcoming, well-presented environment that reflects our values and delivers outstanding customer experience.

This role suits someone with prior supervisory experience in retail and a keen eye for product trends.

Role Overview

As a Supervisor, you play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the shop floor and delivering the high service standards our customers expect. You play an active role in supporting colleagues throughout each shift, helping to maintain high standards of service, presentation and store performance. You’ll also support daily operational tasks as directed by Store Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with brand standards and company expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.
• Strong interest in retail, solid product and trend awareness, and the ability to promote company values and behaviours.
