Liverpool FC in Whiston is seeking a Supervisory leader for our Distribution Centre to manage a shift of warehouse operatives, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely completion of tasks across inbound, picking, packing, and dispatch. You will allocate workload, monitor KPIs, coach staff, and act as a bridge to management while upholding safety standards.
The role includes shift handovers, driving continuous improvement, and safeguarding stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and checks.
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as Supervisor in our Distribution Centre.
The Supervisor leads a team of warehouse operatives during their shift, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely completion of all operational tasks. They allocate work, monitor performance against KPIs, and coach colleagues on best practices and compliance. Supervisors are the first point of escalation for operational and personnel issues and function as a bridge between operatives and management. They enforce health, safety, and security standards, maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and checks, and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency and service quality on the floor.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous, recent experience of working within a DC environment in a similar position, with excellent knowledge of DC operations and business key trading periods. You will have an excellent understanding of Health and Safety regulations and managing health and safety on a day-to-day basis. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to drive a team to achieve targets. You’ll have a ‘can do attitude’ and the ability to work as part of a team, while also being able to use your own initiative and be able to make operational decisions. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a high level of accuracy and keen eye for detail, with the ability to effectively prioritise a demanding workload and positive and flexible approach to new challenges.
This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week on a 5 from 7 days basis which will include weekend working. Your main base will be our Distribution Centre in Whiston. We offer on-site parking.
