Job summary

The Entertainer in Craigavon is seeking a 30-hour Store Supervisor to join the management team. You will support the Store Manager, oversee daily operations, and cover days off to keep the store running smoothly while maintaining high standards of customer service.

You will lead a small team, ensure efficient till operations, and drive promotions while managing stock and deliveries. The role requires flexibility, weekend cover, and a proactive, energetic approach to retail leadership.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including Sundays on a rota basis and run the store in the absence of management.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, cash handling, till reconciliations and refunds.
• Lead by example with exceptional customer service and motivate the team.
• Implement in-store promotions, stay commercially aware, inform staff and keep them engaged.
• Participate in stock management, stockroom standards, deliveries, merchandising and minimise stock loss.

When you join us as a Supervisor at The Entertainer, Craigavon you will be a key member of the store’s management team and a role model for our Sales Assistants. You will be there to support your Store Manager in the day to day running of your store, ensuring the team are focussed and performing to their full potential, andshow your manager what you’re all about when running the store independently to cover days off and holidays.

You will be energetic, outgoing, keen and possess a natural flair for retailing. Ideally you will live within 30-45 minutes of your store and be flexible to work the shift patterns that the store operation requires, especially during October to December. Weekend key-holder cover is also a basic requirement of this role.

As a 30hour Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Opening and closing the store, including Sundays on a rota basis andrunning the store successfully in the absence of the Store management
• Ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations and routines including cash and till areas, dealing with customer refunds and till reconciliations
• Lead by example, demonstrating an exceptional customer service experience, inspiring your team to do the same
• Implement in-store promotions, be commercial and ensure staff are motivated and well informed
• Actively participate in stock management including stockroom standards, managing deliveries, merchandising and minimising stock loss
