Job summary

Marston’s PLC seeks a Supervisor to lead our busy pub team, delivering welcoming experiences and memorable moments for guests. You’ll drive a friendly, fast-paced environment, coaching colleagues and ensuring smooth daily operations.

As a Supervisor you’ll open and close, manage stock and cash, and act as a practical role model for service. We offer a clear internal career pathway with supportive colleagues and real opportunities to progress toward an Assistant Manager role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisor or team leader role.
• Ability to lead, motivate and deliver great guest experiences.
• Capable of opening/closing, stock control and cash handling.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the pub team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Collaborate with the management team to run the business efficiently.
• Open and close the pub, stock, and cash up.
• Act as a role model for customer service and use initiative.
• Ensure smooth shifts when senior staff are away.

We’re on the lookout for a Supervisor to join our team!

Right at the heart of the pub – creating moments of joy. You’ll be there supporting the team to deliver the everyday moments and those stand-out occasions. You’ll thrive from an environment that is busy, varied, fast paced but most importantly – fun!

As Supervisor you’ll:

Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you’ll share moments of joy with our team and guests. You and the pub team will pride yourselves on delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
• Accountablefor the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away
