Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Supervisor to join our busy pub team. You’ll lead and motivate staff to deliver memorable moments for guests, share moments of joy, and maintain high standards of service in a fast-paced, fun environment.

You’ll work with the pub management team to keep operations efficient, handle opening/closing, stock, and cashing up, and lead by example on customer care. This role offers development through our internal pathways and rewards for performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Work with pub management team to run the business efficiently and profitably.
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up.
• Be a role model for customer service.
• Think on your feet and use your initiative.
• Responsible for the smooth running of shifts and pub operations when senior staff are away.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver an excellent guest experience.
• Ensure smooth daily operations, including stock checks and cash handling.
• Support management in achieving profitability and service standards.
• Act as a positive ambassador for the pub and Marston’s values.

As Supervisor you’ll:

Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you’ll share moments of joy with our team and guests. You and the pub team will pride yourselves on delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
• Accountablefor the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away
