Job summary

Marston's in the United Kingdom is seeking a Supervisor to lead a busy pub team, opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up while delivering the kind of guest experiences that bring customers back for more. You’ll inspire and coach colleagues to provide friendly, energetic service and you’ll work with the management team to run the business smoothly and profitably when the wider team is away.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Supervisory or Team Leader role.
• Open/close, stocking and cashing up responsibilities.
• Strong customer service orientation and guest focus.
• Ability to think on your feet and use initiative.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the pub team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Work with management to run the business smoothly and profitably when managers are away.
• Oversee shifts and bar/restaurant duties including cash handling when needed.
• Model excellent customer service and foster a positive team environment.

We’re on the lookout for a Supervisor to join our team!

Right at the heart of the pub – creating moments of joy.You’ll be there supporting the team to deliver the everyday moments and those stand-out occasions. You’ll thrive from an environment that is busy, varied, fast paced but most importantly – fun!

As Supervisor you’ll:Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you’ll share moments of joy with our team and guests. You and the pub team will pride yourselves on delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
• Accountable for the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away
