Job summary

JD Sports in Southampton is seeking a proactive supervisor to help run the shop floor smoothly and sustain high service levels for customers. You will support colleagues across shifts, ensure presentation aligns with brand standards, and assist with daily tasks under Store Management guidance.

The role emphasizes leading by example, maintaining strong product knowledge, and upholding store performance through effective till operations and opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.
• Strong interest in retail, solid product and trend awareness, and the ability to promote company values and behaviours.

Role Overview

As a Supervisor, you play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the shop floor and delivering the high service standards our customers expect. You play an active role in supporting colleagues throughout each shift, helping to maintain high standards of service, presentation and store performance.
