Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor in the United Kingdom to oversee inventory, drive efficient storage and shipping, and lead warehouse teams.

You will supervise forklift operations, ensure safety, assist hiring and training, and continuously improve processes to meet targets and deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse supervisory experience is required.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid IT skills, including spreadsheets and databases, and familiarity with warehouse systems.
• Understanding of customer requirements and impact of errors on cost.
• Ability to meet targets and deadlines with good planning.
• Attention to detail and numerical/analytical abilities.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Certification in: Dangerous Goods Handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor warehouse inventory and ensure accurate records.

• Monitor warehouse inventory
• Manage warehouse staff to ensure accurate and efficient storage and shipping of products
• Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics
• Supervise and direct warehouse staff; prioritize worker safety
• Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products
• Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning
• Supervise all forklift operations
• Motivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks
• Assist in the hiring and training process of new warehouse staff
• Constantly work to improve processes

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is required
• Supervisory and Team Leader skills with the ability to motivate, develop and supervise others
