Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a motivated Supervisor to lead a busy pub team on-site in the United Kingdom. You will help deliver memorable guest experiences, manage opening/closing duties, cash handling, and stock, and work with the management team to run the business efficiently and profitably.

The role offers opportunities to progress within the internal pathway, with a supportive, people-first culture and a range of staff benefits. Personality and customer service excellence are valued highly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong customer service mindset
• Ability to prioritise tasks and think on your feet
• Responsible for smooth shifts when senior staff are away
• Work with pub management to run the business efficiently

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the pub team to deliver great guest experiences
• Open and close shifts, manage cash and stock
• Ensure high standards of customer service and operations
• Act as a role model for the team and handle on-the-spot decisions
• Support management with day-to-day running of the pub

As Supervisor you’ll:

Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you’ll share moments of joy with our team and guests. You and the pub team will pride yourselves on delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
• Accountablefor the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away
