About the Role

As a Supervisor, you'll be one of the leaders of the Coffee House, helping to create an environment where both your team and our guests have a fantastic experience.

You'll support the management team with the day-to-day operation of the business, lead shifts with confidence and help develop your colleagues to be the very best they can be.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others, solving problems, taking ownership and leading by example. You'll play an important part in building a positive culture where great hospitality, teamwork and high standards come naturally.

A Day in the Life

As a Supervisor, you'll:

• Lead shifts to ensure every guest receives exceptional service.
• Support and motivate the team throughout busy services.
• Coach colleagues in delivering Trading Post hospitality standards.
• Help train and welcome new team members.
• Work alongside the management team to achieve sales, service and operational goals.
• Support the smooth running of the Coffee House by making confident decisions and resolving issues as they arise.
• Monitor standards of cleanliness, food safety and presentation throughout the venue.
• Lead by example, creating a positive atmosphere where the team can perform at their best.
• Jump in wherever needed, whether that's serving customers, making coffee or supporting the kitchen team.

Previous experience

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience working in a busy hospitality environment.
• Experience supporting or supervising a team.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple demands.
• A passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

Bonus points if you have:

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Barista experience within specialty coffee.
• Experience coaching or training colleagues.
• A desire to progress into management.
