Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Supervisor at our Bolton site to oversee a single service location within the school foundation, delivering high standards of catering in a fast-paced environment.

You will join a dedicated team, ensure compliance with hygiene and safety, manage stock and customer service, and contribute to our commitment to excellent food and service at this private day school in Bolton.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced catering environment is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work well as part of a team and manage front-facing duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a single service location within the school foundation.
• Ensure food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensure all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, cleaning, clearing down.

Supervisor Bolton Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 10051
Hours: 17.5 (10.30-2pm Monday to Friday) per week

A private day school in Bolton, Greater Manchester. It comprises a co-educational nursery, co-educational infant school, single sex junior schools and single sex senior schools including sixth forms. Catering for 2850 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Mid morning break with full lunch offering including grab & go. There is lots of hospitality offerings at this location. Operating predominantly Monday to Friday with exceptions for events etc on some weekends. There is plenty of free parking in the vicinity of the school.

We are looking for a Supervisor to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Bolton.

You will ideally have previous experience of working within a fast-paced catering environment as a hospitality assistant or supervisor.

You will enjoy what you do, working with a great team, for a company fanatical about food serving wonderful customers.

Key responsibilities

• To oversee a single service location within the school foundation.
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• To support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, cleaning, clearing down
• To ensure Daily Due Diligence controls and procedures are followed and completed.

You will have the following skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Hospitality experience required

Knowledge / competencies

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
