Thomas Franks Ltd. is seeking a Commis Chef for a Day School in Bolton. Fixed hours are 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a 37.5 hour work week. The role is full-time and permanent, located in a private day school with modern, fully equipped kitchens.
The role offers opportunities to prepare a diverse range of fresh foods, including daily lunch service, grab-and-go options, buffets, and hospitality events, while emphasising quality, consistency, and teamwork.

Hours: 37.5 (7-3PM Monday to Friday) per week
A private day school in Bolton, Greater Manchester. It comprises a co-educational nursery, co-educational infant school, single sex junior schools and single sex senior schools including sixth forms. Catering for 2850 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Mid morning break with full lunch offering including grab & go. There is lots of hospitality offerings at this location. Operating predominantly Monday to Friday with exceptions for events etc on some weekends. There is plenty of free parking in the vicinity of the school.

As part of our talented kitchen brigade, you’ll help prepare and deliver a wide variety of fresh food across our catering operation, including:
