Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Supervisor to join our pub team. You will lead and motivate staff to deliver memorable guest experiences and ensure the business runs smoothly, even in busy and varied shifts.

You will be responsible for opening and closing, stock and cashing up, and acting as a role model for excellent customer service. The role offers progression within an award-winning local pub company and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Ability to lead and motivate others to deliver guest experiences.
• Ability to think on the spot and use initiative.
• Strong customer service orientation and role modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the pub team to deliver moments of joy and ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Work with the management team to run the business efficiently and profitably.
• Oversee opening/closing, stock, and cashing up responsibilities.
• Act as a customer service role model and supervise shifts when senior staff are away.

As Supervisor you’ll:Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you’ll share moments of joy with our team and guests. You and the pub team will pride yourselves on delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
• Accountablefor the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away
