Job summary

The National Fostering Group is seeking a Supervising Social Worker in Belfast. You will supervise and support foster carers, ensuring safe and positive outcomes for children.

The role involves visiting homes, maintaining strong carer–child relationships, and collaborating with clinical teams to provide trauma-informed support. Applicants should have a BA or MA in social work, be registered with the appropriate body, and hold a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• BA or MA degree in social work and registration with the appropriate body.
• Full driving licence is required.
• Experience with vulnerable children and trauma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and advise foster carers to support children.
• Visit homes and maintain contact with carers and young people.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to identify and provide the right support.
• Safeguard and ensure safety and high standards across your caseload.
