Job summary

The National Fostering Group is seeking a Supervising Social Worker for NFA East to support vulnerable children and foster carers across the region. You will supervise carers, visit homes, and work with clinical teams to provide specialist support while keeping safeguarding at the heart of practice.

You will bring a relevant social work degree, registration, and a passion for creating stable, nurturing homes.

Qualifications

• BA/MA in social work and registration with the appropriate body.
• Full driving licence is required.
• Experience with children and young people who have trauma and enhanced needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and advise foster carers to ensure children's safety and development.
• Visit foster homes and maintain strong contact with carers and young people.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to identify and provide the right support.
• Act as safeguarding champion ensuring high standards of care.
