Job summary

Fosterplus Doncaster is seeking a Supervising Social Worker to provide direct supervision to Foster Parents within a manageable caseload and supervise practice while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires a recognised social work qualification, SW England registration, and driving licence. You will collaborate with children, Foster Parents and local authorities to support safeguarding and decision-making, with occasional travel across the Midlands and South Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised professional qualification in social work and current Social Work England registration.
• Experience of working with Foster Parents as professional colleagues within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Good IT skills and ability to produce high quality reports to deadlines.
• Flexible in relation to working patterns and travel.
• Hold a full driving licence, be a confident driver and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to Foster Parents within a manageable caseload.
• Provide regular supervision to allocated Foster Parents and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with children, young people, Foster Parents and other professionals to support safeguarding and decision-making.
