£37,185 to £50,081 Per Annum

Your Exciting Role:

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will nurture foster carers and safeguard the well-being of children in care. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting foster carers through regular home visits and heartfelt conversations.
  • Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, monitoring their well-being with compassion.
  • Co-leading inspiring training events to empower foster carers and enhance their skills.
  • Championing children's voices in reviews, planning, and complaints to ensure they are heard and valued.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Your social work qualifications (Diploma, Degree, Master's) and Social Work England registration are essential.
  • Proven experience in social work, with a current understanding of legislation and guidance.
  • Strong partnership-building skills with agencies and communities.
  • Decisiveness and risk assessment capabilities for sound decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel across Mid Essex and beyond, spreading positivity and making a real impact.
