Homebased – Liverpool, covering Liverpool, Sefton, and Wirral

Responsibilities:

• Support foster parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
• Monitor and support the suitability and competence of foster parents.
• Ensure foster carers understand their responsibilities and FCA policies.
• Provide regular supervision to foster parents.
• Work collaboratively with the team to support foster families and children.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
• Attend meetings and prepare reports as needed.
• Promote participation of children and young people in agency activities and community resources.
• Participate in an 'out of hours' support rota.
• Conduct initial home visits and Form F Assessments.

Requirements:

• A Social Work qualification.
• Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
• High standard of report writing skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
• Confidence in transporting children in stressful situations.
• Full driving license.
