Job summary

The RAC is seeking a SuperFlex Roadside Mechanic to join the Guildford cluster. You’ll respond to roadside breakdowns, diagnose faults, and get members moving again with your RAC van, fuel card, and full kit. Expect a base salary of £55,869 with London Weighting where applicable, plus bonuses and overtime taking you up to £61,000.

Shifts range 06:00–02:00, across weekdays, weekends and holidays. You’ll work around 40 hours per week across the year and be part of a supportive team offering

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside breakdowns and diagnose faults to get members back on the road.
• Maintain and manage your own RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic equipment.
• Deliver high-quality customer service while working flexible hours across the roster.
