Job summary

ASI Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester in Tunbridge Wells to work with premium automotive brands in a high-spec workshop.

You will service, repair and diagnose high-end vehicles, perform MOT tests, and progress towards Master Technician status with funded training opportunities.

Basic salary £35,000-£40,000+ with group bonus schemes and 23 days' holiday, plus manufacturer courses and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
• Valid MOT Tester Licence.
• Capable all-round Vehicle Technician with servicing, repairs, diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Pride in workmanship and high standards when working with high-end vehicles.
• Interested in developing technical knowledge and gaining manufacturer qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of high-end vehicles.
• Carrying out mechanical repairs, inspections and diagnostic work.
• Using computer-based diagnostic equipment to identify faults and establish effective repairs.
• Completing road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicles meet the required standards.
• Carrying out MOT tests and ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation and procedures.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of workmanship across every job.
• Taking advantage of manufacturer training and development opportunities, working towards Master Technician status.
