Job summary

Holiday Inn Bristol - Filton is seeking a Breakfast Chef to prepare and cook breakfast to a consistently high standard, presenting dishes attractively and with care.

You'll work with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth service, maintain cleanliness, and support stock management in a busy hotel environment. This role offers early shifts and opportunities for learning and progression within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
• Enjoys early shifts and breakfast service routine.
• Pride in producing well-cooked, well-presented food consistently.
• Works calmly and efficiently in a structured kitchen environment.
• Understands hygiene, cleanliness and organisation.
• Enjoys being part of a supportive team and contributing to a smooth service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a range of breakfast dishes, including eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, pastries and other breakfast items
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard, with care and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas, equipment and workstations
• Support the ordering and management of kitchen supplies and stock levels
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards at all times
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support a smooth and efficient service
• Keep work areas clean, organised and well maintained
• Assist with the training and support of junior kitchen team members when required
