Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a motivated Retail Store Assistant for Sundays at our Salisbury shop. You will take keyholder responsibility, lead a volunteer team, and help achieve sales and fundraising targets while ensuring high standards of safeguarding and customer service.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
Experience working in a lively retail environment is preferred.
Flexibility to work on a rota and Sundays is essential.

Responsibilities

Oversee the running of the shop on Sundays, including keyholder duties (training provided).
Support a team of volunteers to hit sales and fundraising targets.
Review and process donated goods and new stock.
Brainstorm ideas to generate new income with guidance from the Shop Manager.
Use strong customer service to make customers and supporters feel welcome and valued.
Maintain shop standards for safeguarding, compliance and health & safety.
