Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking a Summer Placement Test Systems Engineer for 13 weeks, starting 01/06/2026 and ending 27/08/2027. You’ll work on real projects in multidisciplinary teams, with on-site time encouraged, and coaching from a dedicated supervisor to develop technical skills.

Entry requires a Bachelor’s/Integrated Master’s or higher in Electronics, Systems, or related fields; strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Entry requirements include Bachelor’s/Integrated Master’s degree or higher such as MSc or PhD.
• Disciplines include Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Design, Communications Engineering, Physics.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of small packages of work to time, cost and quality.
