Job summary

MBDA invites undergraduates in Software Engineering or Computer Science to join a 10-week Software Engineer placement at our Stevenage site. The role covers embedded and front-end development, with exposure to a range of languages including C, C++, and Python.

Starting June 2027, you will work on real-world projects, gain experience across software lifecycles, and may secure a graduate role post-placement. On-site work 4-5 days per week with full MBDA benefits.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field.
• Interest in embedded and front-end software development.
• Willingness to work on-site in Stevenage and participate in a 10-week placement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in software development across embedded and front-end projects.
• Learn software development lifecycles and documentation practices.
