Job summary

British Summer School in Worth, West Sussex, seeks a Student Experience Manager to ensure international students feel safe, supported and included throughout their stay. You will coordinate welcomes, monitor attendance, manage group leaders and safeguard procedures, and maintain records with the welfare team.

The role involves variable shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, and requires active engagement with parents, agents and Head Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a warm, organised welcome for every student and assist with arrivals.
• Nominations for student representatives and weekly feedback meetings with them.
• Ensure arrival and departure questionnaires are completed on time and logged.
• Take high-quality photographs/videos of students' learning and activities with consent.
• Provide weekly updates to Parents and Agents by email.
• Act as a key contact for international Group Leaders and coordinate information.
• Support student departure reflections and manage lost property and transfers.
• Identify students needing additional help and coordinate support with staff.
• Monitor attendance and participation across lessons and activities.
• Follow safeguarding procedures, report concerns, and maintain professional boundaries.
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure clear handovers.
• Attend staff meetings and guide inclusive communication and engagement.
• Apply risk assessments and emergency procedures when supervising events.
