Job summary

Arup is recruiting for Electrical Building Services Summer Students to join our Buildings teams across the UK. This 4-week internship provides hands-on support to delivering designs and gaining understanding of the role of a design engineer within a multi-disciplinary team including Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.

The opportunity is for students studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering,

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent), as proven through the modules you completed to date.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team.
• Gain understanding of the role of a design engineer by using relevant software.
• Work as part of project teams to deliver professional services to clients.
