Job summary

Mako's Summer Internship is a four-week program designed to develop industry knowledge and practical experience in options markets, with collaboration between our software engineering and trading teams.

You will work with experienced traders on market dynamics, simulations, and lectures, culminating in a trading-related assignment with personalised feedback. London-based internship for STEM students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a STEM degree in 2nd or final year.
• Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills with curiosity.
• Proficient in at least one programming language from Python/Go/Java/C++.

Responsibilities

• Engage with traders to understand options markets and strategies.
• Attend lectures, Q&A sessions, and mock trading exercises.
• Develop and test trading-related ideas in a collaborative setting.
• Deliver a final trading-related assignment with feedback from experts.
