Job summary

Arup is offering a 6-week Summer Internship for Electrical or Building Services Engineering students across the UK. You will support the team to deliver professional designs on selected projects and gain hands-on experience with relevant software.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary group alongside Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers to understand how we operate and deliver value for clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent), as proven through the modules you have completed.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.

Responsibilities

• Support team members to deliver designs on strategically won projects.
• Prepare designs in coordination with the team and learn the role of a design engineer.
• Work with Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
