Job summary

Arup invites Electrical Building Services Engineering students to join a 6-week Summer Internship in the UK, working with a multi-disciplinary Buildings team to support project delivery and design development.

You will gain hands-on experience in design coordination, using relevant software, and collaborating with Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers across diverse developments.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• on track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent), as proven through the modules that you have completed to date.
• demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to team members to deliver an effective and professional service to clients on strategically won projects.
• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team and gain understanding of the role of a design engineer by using relevant software.
• Work as part of project teams to deliver professional services to clients, collaborating with Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
