Job summary

Arup is recruiting Electrical or Building Services Engineering Summer Students to join our Buildings teams across the UK for a 6-week internship. You will support colleagues to deliver effective design services on strategically won projects, assisting in preparing designs in coordination with the team.

You will collaborate with Architects, Building Services and Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers, gaining hands-on experience with the software and processes used by the design

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MEng or BEng in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or above (or equivalent).
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineers on projects across the UK.
• Assist in preparing designs in coordination with the team.
• Gain experience with relevant software and project processes.
