Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Craftsperson for an NHS site in Suffolk. The role involves maintenance, fault finding, calibration and repairs on a range of mechanical systems with an on-call rotation.

Working hours are 37.5 per week, 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with additional on-call duties and a 12-month ongoing contract. The candidate should have a recognised trade apprenticeship in mechanical discipline and City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications in Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications

• Recognised trade apprenticeship in mechanical discipline.
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing Services or equivalent.
• Experience in engineering/building maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs, calibration and fault finding on mechanical plant and equipment.
• Undertake new installations and improvements while following Trust safety standards.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections and commissioning tests.
• Participate in on-call rota for emergency repairs outside normal hours.
