Job summary

Service Service is seeking an experienced Account Executive or insurance professional to cover Suffolk, including Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.

The role focuses on developing client relationships, managing existing portfolios, and securing new business opportunities within commercial insurance. You will collaborate with senior leadership to grow the business and strengthen our presence in the East of England.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance, AE/Development Executive/Account Handler or similar.
• Strong understanding of the local business community and commercial insurance market.
• Proven ability to develop new business opportunities.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and growth mindset.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
• Collaborative with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Committed to continuous professional development and maintaining technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop strong relationships with commercial clients across Suffolk.
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio while identifying and securing new opportunities.
• Provide professional and independent insurance advice tailored to client needs.
• Work with the Account Director to support strategic growth plans.
• Maintain a visible presence in the local business community and build stakeholder relationships.
• Support client retention through excellent service and relationship management.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the company to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company standards.
