Sword Group is seeking a Subsurface Data Services Team Lead to coordinate a Data Analysts and Data Management team within a leading energy organisation. You will oversee day-to-day service operations, manage workloads, and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring delivery of high‑quality subsurface data services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating teams within data management or similar operational environments.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Experience overseeing service delivery and coordinating resources.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement across technical and non-technical teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL and structured service management processes.
• Experience monitoring service performance and producing operational reports.
• Understanding subsurface data workflows and applications such as Petrel, OpenWorks, Techlog, Studio Manager.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate a team of Data Analysts and Data Management professionals delivering subsurface data services.
• Oversee day-to-day service operations, ensuring activities are prioritised, allocated and delivered effectively.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships.
• Manage team workloads, resource planning and utilisation to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor service performance, ensuring service requests and incidents are managed to SLAs.
• Prepare and present operational reports and management information.
• Facilitate regular service review meetings and improvement activities.
• Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager to support customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate onboarding, knowledge transfer and service transition activities.
• Maintain accurate procedures, work instructions and governance documentation.
• Support data quality and adherence to governance standards.
