RTL Group is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support a high-profile substation project in Durham. You will be hands-on on civil and electrical works, coordinating trades and ensuring safe, compliant delivery on site.

The role requires CSCS (Supervisor), SSSTS/SMSTS, and strong leadership with a background in civils within energy/utility sectors. You will read technical drawings and manage RAMS and permits while liaising with project teams.

Formación

• Proven experience as Site Supervisor on substation or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong HV safety procedures knowledge and experience.
• Qualifications in construction, civil or electrical engineering.
• Valid CSCS card (Supervisor level or above).
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily site operations on a live substation project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers to meet milestones.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, especially in HV environments.
• Oversee civil works (foundations, ducting, drainage) and/or electrical installation activities.
• Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks and RAMS.
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues.
• Ensure works align with drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and client representatives.
• Maintain records including site diaries, inspections and permits.
