Job summary

RTL Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for a West London substation project on a 24-month contract.

The role involves supervising daily site activities, coordinating electrical installation teams and managing safety, RAMS and site documentation throughout testing and commissioning phases. The ideal candidate has proven HV project supervision experience, a National Grid Competent Person certification, and a strong understanding of interface with civils works.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on substation or HV projects.
• National Grid - Competent Person certification (essential)
• Experience overseeing installation through testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of RAMS and health & safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities on a substation project.
• Coordinate installation teams and subcontractors to plan and execute works.
• Monitor progress, report delays and issues against programme.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning stages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, RAMS and site permits.
• Maintain site records and progress reports.
• Coordinate with commissioning engineers and project managers.
• Resolve site issues to ensure smooth delivery.
• Coordinate with civils teams to integrate civils works.
