Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is recruiting a Project Engineer to join the Kiln Lane substation initiative in East Suffolk. You will utilise Digital Engineering models to develop method statements and set out data, and lead a team of engineers on large-scale infrastructure delivery.

You will implement temporary works procedures, manage ITPs, and ensure QA procedures are followed, with scope including dimensional control, 3D CAD data transfer, and as-built surveys.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in civil engineering or related field.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Self-delivery experience on site.
• Temporary Works experience.

Responsibilities

• Use Digital Engineering model to create Visual Method Statements and Visual Task sheets.
• Implement and ensure compliance with Temporary Works procedures on projects.
• Determine appropriate methods for dimensional control and control setting out data.
• Interrogate and transfer setting out data from 3D CAD data.
