Job summary

Active (Pathways) Solutions Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Fitter with Roto Telehandler experience for a substation project in Walpole, PE14. The role runs Monday to Friday, 45/50 hours per week, with pay of £300–£350 per day and LTD or CIS payment options.

The candidate should have substations experience and hold relevant site qualifications, with CSCS and IPAF/NPORS being desirable. You may be required to travel to different locations in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical fixing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong safety awareness and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical fixing and installation work on site.
• Operate Roto Telehandler.
• Install, assemble and position mechanical components and equipment.
• Read and work from drawings, plans and specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Work alongside other trades and site teams.
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep work areas safe, clean and tidy.
• Follow instructions from the Site Manager and supervisors.
