Job summary

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a 10 Month Contract based in Hertfordshire. You will work on a major substation project in Watford, performing mechanical installation, fitting, and assembly while following drawings, specifications and RAMS.

Telehandler operations and coordinating with electrical teams are integral to delivering site tasks safely and to program. Experience with bolt tightening, torqueing and alignment, plus a strong focus on safety, will be

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter within substation/HV environments.
• NG Persons – essential.
• CSCS – essential.
• Telehandler qualification – essential.
• Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a site-based team.

• Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a site-based team.
