Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel Limited is seeking a full-time Substance Misuse Recovery Coordinator in Barnsley. You will manage a caseload of around 70 clients with varying substance misuse challenges and deliver structured psychosocial interventions while collaborating with prescribers and external agencies.

The role requires previous substance misuse sector experience; Systm1 proficiency is beneficial. Office hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional Thursday evening work to meet late-night client

What you will do

• Manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 70 clients with varying substance misuse challenges.
• Deliver structured psychosocial interventions (PSI) and harm minimisation advice.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and collaborate on recovery planning with clients.
• Work in partnership with external agencies and internal colleagues like prescribers to support client recovery.
• Ensure client safeguarding and maintain up-to-date records using Systm1, where possible.
• Serve clients at Barnsley Recovery Steps, with potential evening hours on Thursdays for late-night support.
