Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel Limited is seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Coordinator for Barnsley. You will manage a caseload of around 70 clients, delivering PSI and harm minimisation, and coordinating with prescribers and external agencies to support recovery.

Proficiency with Systm1 is advantageous, and evening hours may be required on Thursdays to accommodate late-night client needs. This role is based in Barnsley with office hours Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the substance misuse sector is mandatory.
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload of around 70 clients.
• Experience conducting structured psychosocial interventions and harm minimisation advice.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 70 clients with varying substance misuse challenges.
• Deliver structured psychosocial interventions (PSI) and harm minimisation advice.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and collaborate on recovery planning with clients.
• Work in partnership with external agencies and internal colleagues to support client recovery.
• Ensure safeguarding and maintain up-to-date records using Systm1 where possible.
• Serve clients at Barnsley Recovery Steps, with potential evening hours on Thursdays.
