Job summary

CIH International Housing Group is seeking a Recovery Coordinator in Leeds for a two-month locum contract. The role supports individuals in substance misuse services with assessments, care planning, and recovery-focused interventions.

The position expects caseload management, accurate record-keeping in CRiiS, and delivery of motivational and harm-reduction sessions, within a 09:00–17:00 schedule.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, Substance Misuse, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant training in substance misuse, safeguarding, motivational interviewing, or recovery-focused practice.
• A Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of individuals accessing drug and alcohol treatment services, including assessments, care planning, reviews and recovery-focused interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely service user records on the CRiiS system, ensuring governance and contractual compliance.
• Deliver structured keywork sessions, motivational interventions, harm reduction advice, relapse prevention support and recovery planning.
• Conduct risk assessments and safeguarding activities, escalating concerns per local procedures.

• Demonstrable experience using CRiiS to record interventions, update care plans, and monitor recovery outcomes.
