Job description

Archer Resourcing has a great new opportunity for a Substance Misuse Nurse in Walsall.

Role Overview

As a Substance Misuse Nurse, you will provide individualized clinical care to support patients' recovery, helping them lead fulfilling lives. This role can be challenging but also rewarding, as you support vulnerable individuals during difficult times.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Carrying out comprehensive assessments
2. Initiating and reviewing recovery plans and explaining confidentiality and treatment options to patients
3. Providing one-on-one advice and information to patients
4. Supporting dispensing and attending to medical emergencies

Requirements:

1. Relevant Degree
2. Current and valid NMC registration
3. At least 1 year of relevant experience in substance misuse
4. Up-to-date understanding of public health needs
5. Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months (on the update service? Fast track your application)
