There is a structured training programme to support progression to Chartered status with CIOB or RICS, plus insurance qualifications such as Cert CII. Role involves regular travel and home-based work within the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in investigating and repairing damaged buildings with subsidence.
• Chartered or near Chartered status with ICE, IStructE, RICS or CIOB.
• Experience in insurance claims handling is desirable but training will be given.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft packages.
• Understanding of domestic construction and CDM Regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Role is home based and nationwide with travel.

Responsibilities

• Survey properties, investigate damage and diagnose movement causes.
• Report details to Subsidence teams within set timeframes for swift settlement.
• Attend claimant visits and coordinate with internal teams.
• Develop reports relating to property damage and insurance matters.
• Progress through training to Chartered status with CIOB or RICS.
