Job summary

Exchange Street Financial Services Ltd seeks an experienced Subsidence Engineer to cover London and the South East. You will manage subsidence claims, perform site assessments and oversee repair schemes with contractors, ensuring accurate liability determinations and full ABI reporting.

You should have subsidence or loss adjusting experience; MRICS/MCIOB/C.BuildE preferred but not essential. Strong communication and customer service skills are required to liaise with clients, contractors and

Qualifications

• Experience in subsidence / loss adjusting.
• MRICS / MCIOB / C.BuildE preferred but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of subsidence claims involving landslips, sinkholes/voids and alternative intervention methods on a project managed basis.
• Attend site to carry out technical assessments and investigate claims.
• Determine causation / defect diagnosis and policy liability.
• Decline claims where appropriate.
• Determine nature and extent of damage.
• Prepare / submit full ABI reports with findings and recommendations.
• Oversee complex repair schemes, sub-structure and super-structure.
• Liaise with contractors and external suppliers.
• Work with the Contractor Network.
• Review claims and deal with variations.
